Description

  • Collaborate with product managers and internal users to ensure the platform meets customer needs.
  • Work with engineering teammates to prototype and develop new functionality iteratively.
  • Provide technical leadership on the architecture and design of team systems.
  • Build and operate data services that power applications and APIs.
  • Deploy, maintain, and operate platform pipelines and services.
  • Coach and support other engineers in their growth.
  • Work on mission-critical projects with direct customer impact.
  • Contribute to systems that handle large-scale healthcare data and comply with evolving privacy and security requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience building operationally stable, scalable, and cost-efficient data services.
  • Strong interest in solving open-ended technical and business problems.
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-changing startup environment.
  • Experience building backend services in Go.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
  • Experience with at least one deployment technology such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI, one cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and one Infrastructure as Code tool such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Ability to work from the Boston metro on a hybrid schedule, or remotely in EST/CST with occasional travel for in-person collaboration.
  • Preferred experience building and running large-scale cloud systems in Go.
  • Preferred experience with AWS DynamoDB.
  • Preferred knowledge of application security.
  • Preferred experience working with healthcare data and APIs.
  • Preferred familiarity with FHIR and/or TEFCA standards.
