Description

  • Manage aircraft-level requirements and execute validation and verification activities using Archer processes based on ARP-4754A.
  • Coordinate with Systems Engineers to ensure the integrated system meets requirements and is optimized.
  • Define and manage system architecture and interfaces while driving hardware and software definitions that support mission objectives.
  • Support systems and specialty engineering teams in developing lower-level requirements with technical leads and subject matter experts.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary integration testing, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
  • Support major development milestones such as CoDR, PDR, CDR, FRR, and TRR.
  • Support aircraft-level and integrated behavior testing, including Archer flight test activities.
  • Develop compliance documentation, including test procedures and test reports for validation, verification, and certification.
  • Interface with aircraft systems teams, suppliers, laboratories, and aircraft testing teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing or working with integrated systems, with aerospace experience preferred.
  • Experience with requirements-based or model-based product development, including validation and verification activities, with aerospace experience preferred.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, or Jama.
  • Exposure to product- or system-level testing, including use of data from digital buses; aerospace bus experience is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with controls or software development, with embedded software preferred and aerospace experience a bonus.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead by influence.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Passion for learning and problem solving.
  • Familiarity with SAE ARP-4754A or other system engineering requirement-based development processes is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with 14 CFR parts 23, 25, 91, and 135 and applicable guidance materials is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with test results data analysis is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Matlab, Simulink, or Cameo is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools is a bonus.

  • Base pay targeted between $144,000 and $180,000.
