Description

  • Develop system requirements from inputs across Product, Marketing, Business Development, external customers, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain SysML models using MBSE methodologies and tools such as Cameo.
  • Advance system development through requirements validation, implementation, verification, and certification.
  • Lead or support compliance with ARP4754B development practices and produce required artifacts.
  • Guide system design compliance with certification, cybersecurity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Support formal technical program reviews and gates, including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and qualification reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate work with cross-functional team members and supervise or review junior staff.
  • Deliver high-quality MBSE artifacts and technical leadership through the current CDR phase.
  • Perform requirements traceability and impact assessments and help identify and mitigate technical risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field from an accredited university or college.
  • 7+ years of experience in a highly technical aerospace-related industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer role.
  • Experience applying MBSE principles using SysML and one or more MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or MagicDraw.
  • Familiarity with the full Systems Engineering design process, including concept of operations, requirements development, architecture definition, system integration, validation, and verification.
  • Experience with ARP4754B and ability to support system safety reviews per ARP4761A.
  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Experience developing autonomous systems or avionics products preferred.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion or DOORS preferred.
  • Experience with a DO-178C compliant development lifecycle preferred.
  • Hybrid work is preferred, but the role can be fully remote.
