Description

  • Lead and grow the Data Engineering, Data Governance, and BI/Analytics teams.
  • Set priorities, workflows, quality standards, hiring plans, and resource allocation across the data organization.
  • Design and own the data platform architecture, including warehouse/lakehouse structure, schemas, and modeling standards.
  • Build, orchestrate, and maintain reliable pipelines into governed, analytics-ready data models.
  • Manage cloud data infrastructure, reliability standards, and cost optimization.
  • Own the BI strategy, centralized reporting, dashboards, self-service analytics, and role-based access controls.
  • Manage the data platform roadmap and translate business requirements into deliverable technical initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between data teams and business stakeholders.
  • Own the data layer for Apryse’s Glean implementation, including source connections, indexing, governance, access, quality, and security.
  • Partner with IT, AI, and Agent Builder teams to ensure AI tools and agents use trusted, governed data.

Requirements

  • Experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines, including orchestration and scheduling tools such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, or Apache Spark.
  • Strong SQL/DDL skills and working proficiency in Python or a similar language.
  • Experience with dimensional modeling, schema design, and hands-on ownership of a data warehouse or lakehouse; medallion architecture experience is preferred.
  • Track record building governed BI reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Experience integrating and normalizing data from enterprise systems such as Salesforce or NetSuite.
  • Experience managing teams spanning data engineering, governance, and/or BI/analytics.
  • Ability to operate effectively as both a hands-on individual contributor and people leader.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the data platform to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience with or strong interest in enterprise AI and knowledge tools such as Glean is preferred.
  • Background in high-growth companies, preferably those with acquisition-driven growth.
  • Must reside in an eligible U.S. state; the role is remote within the United States.
