Description

  • Develop deep expertise in AppZen’s products, platform, and use cases.
  • Deliver customer-specific demonstrations and presentations.
  • Articulate business value aligned to German and European finance and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and address customer business and technical challenges.
  • Take technical ownership of opportunities across the full sales cycle.
  • Partner with Account Executives on qualification, discovery, and deal strategy.
  • Lead responses to RFI/RFPs, security questionnaires, and data protection inquiries, including GDPR-related requests.
  • Plan and manage proof-of-concepts and pilot engagements through successful completion.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), ERP, or financial automation platforms, such as Ariba or similar.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles for business software.
  • Strong balance of sales, business, and technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Background in Accounting, Accounts Payable, or Procurement is preferred.
  • Experience working with German enterprises or within regulated European industries is preferred.
  • Familiarity with German accounting standards and compliance requirements is preferred.
