Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications.
  • Develop backend APIs and services using modern software engineering practices.
  • Build responsive frontend interfaces using contemporary JavaScript frameworks.
  • Use agentic AI development tools to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.
  • Design and implement AI-powered workflows, automation, and intelligent agents.
  • Contribute to cloud-native application deployment and infrastructure.
  • Assist with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation.
  • Support AI infrastructure, including model deployment, vector databases, retrieval systems, and GPU-enabled workloads.
  • Participate in software testing, quality assurance, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity researchers to integrate AI into real-world security applications.
  • Document software designs, APIs, and engineering processes.

Requirements

  • Current Arkansas state resident.
  • Ability to pass a standard background check.
  • Ability to work 32-40 hours per week during the three-month internship.
  • Ability to work full-time in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship needs.
  • Technical aptitude demonstrated through projects, experience, or online learning, with the ability to communicate what you know.
  • Experience programming in Python.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented software development.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and version control using Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently within a collaborative engineering team.
  • Experience with full-stack web development using Django, FastAPI, React, Vue, Angular, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Experience with REST APIs and microservice architectures is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Linux system administration is highly desirable.
  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is highly desirable.
  • Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering is highly desirable.
  • Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen is highly desirable.
  • Experience with RAG, vector databases, and embeddings is highly desirable.
  • Experience with machine learning tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn is highly desirable.
  • Experience with deep reinforcement learning concepts or implementation is highly desirable.
  • Experience with MLOps tools and model deployment is highly desirable.
  • Experience with automated software testing and test-driven development is highly desirable.
  • Experience with cybersecurity concepts and secure software development practices is highly desirable.
