Description

  • Own the architecture and delivery of agentic workflows for marketing content creation and publishing across blogs, landing pages, microsites, and social channels.
  • Work directly with marketing stakeholders to understand workflows, define quality criteria, and build tools they can self-serve and trust.
  • Partner on CMS architecture so the content model supports agent read and write workflows and AI-driven content discovery.
  • Build the agent reliability system, including workflow-specific quality criteria, evaluation suites, and behavioral regression testing.
  • Create feedback loops that improve agent output over time based on marketer approvals, edits, and rejections.
  • Design human-in-the-loop review across the publishing pipeline, including proposal and commit separation, diff-based review, approval routing, notifications, and audit logging.
  • Encode brand, legal, and compliance constraints as enforceable guardrails within agent workflows.
  • Partner with web product stakeholders to ensure agent-generated content meets surface quality and brand standards across databricks.com.
  • Mentor and grow a senior engineer while setting production-grade engineering standards for the team.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with a clear track record of technical ownership on production systems.
  • Hands-on experience building and operating LLM-powered systems in production.
  • Strong ability to design quality and evaluation frameworks for probabilistic or generative outputs.
  • Strong understanding of human-in-the-loop system design, including approval workflows, review interfaces, audit logging, and guardrails.
  • Deep understanding of agents interacting with content systems, publishing pipelines, and web infrastructure, including CMS, deployment pipelines, and edge delivery.
  • Ability to work directly with non-engineering stakeholders and translate workflow requirements into agent architecture.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical execution across a team.
  • Experience with relevant certifications and training may influence compensation, if applicable.
  • Background in AI-native or agentic system design is implied as highly relevant.
  • Experience at scale with production web platforms is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $198,200 to $272,600 USD for Zone 1.
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus.
  • Eligibility for equity as part of total compensation.
