Description

  • Produce email templates and push notifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a wide variety of clients.
  • Collaborate with email developers and customer success managers to resolve issues in email deployments.
  • Participate in email stand-ups to prioritize workload and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Work directly with client teams to answer questions and manage work-in-progress requests.
  • Ensure emails comply with client standards, email marketing best practices, and CAN-SPAM laws.
  • Test email messages and templates using tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid.
  • Implement programs inside marketing platforms and make mock API calls using tools such as Postman.
  • Handle edge cases and route users into different flows as required.
  • Develop CSS styling and platform-specific code to support dynamic logic in templates.
  • QA and test deliverables across various marketing platforms with clients directly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of email production and development experience.
  • Strong mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email.
  • Proficiency with JSON.
  • Understanding of APIs, including how they work and how to make GET and POST calls.
  • Understanding of how data feeds work.
  • Knowledge of email code structure and responsive coding for different devices.
  • Strong email etiquette and the ability to communicate directly with clients about testing, quality control, and updates.
  • Ability to take feedback, clarify requirements, and make adjustments multiple times if needed.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, Marketo, Simon Data, or Blueshift (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Liquid or Python, Handlebars, Django, or JINJA (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma (preferred).
