Description

  • Guide CRM, CDP, and marketing automation implementations from planning through technical delivery.
  • Lead documentation, requirements gathering, and implementation planning for code-level execution.
  • Identify technology-based solutions to business challenges and recommend tools to improve value from existing platforms.
  • Design martech stacks and provide technical specifications and requirements to internal engineers and project managers.
  • Lead implementation projects and communicate deliverables and progress clearly with clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in client presentations and standups, explaining deliverables, ideas, and best practices.
  • Provide marketing analytics and reporting support as needed.
  • Support user journey mapping, user state/event design, and multi-channel transactional and marketing messaging.
  • Assist in marketing program creation by translating technical requirements into code and data flow specifications.
  • Support migrations and optimization work for lifecycle programs, including schema improvements, data accuracy, and new use cases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of experience integrating third-party tools and planning/developing ETL solutions.
  • 2+ years of direct experience with Segment, mParticle, Tealium, Treasure Data, or a similar CDP tool.
  • 2+ years of experience working with clients or key stakeholders.
  • Previous experience designing and architecting a CDP or marketing automation integration end to end.
  • Experience with APIs, Mobile SDKs, HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Redshift), GCP, Heroku, or iPaaS.
  • Experience determining cross-platform technical requirements across a martech stack (preferred).
  • Experience with CDP platforms such as Segment, RudderStack, mParticle, or Tealium (preferred).
  • Experience configuring automated campaigns and journeys in lifecycle marketing tools such as Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, or Customer.io (preferred).
  • Experience with analytics, enrichment, attribution, reverse ETL tools like Hightouch or Census, JSON or SQL/data modeling, scripting languages, lambda functions, and Shopify or Magento (preferred).
