Description

  • Advise customers on cloud and hybrid hosting strategies based on cost, performance, and security requirements.
  • Install, configure, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Mendix deployments in Kubernetes environments and hyperscale clouds.
  • Support customers in implementing and optimizing Mendix deployments within existing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Define and explain cloud hosting architectures, then implement and troubleshoot the resulting infrastructure.
  • Experiment with automation for cloud infrastructure, deployments, and AI-driven infrastructure.
  • Collaborate directly with customers and travel routinely to client sites.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience with microservices architectures and containerized environments, ideally including 2+ years with modern cloud infrastructure.
  • Practical experience architecting, building, and operating highly automated cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes architectures using AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Rancher, or OpenShift.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and customer-premises infrastructure.
  • Database administration experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle, plus cloud databases or data lakes.
  • Knowledge of authentication systems such as AWS IAM and Azure Entra, and enterprise networking including ingress and reverse proxies.
  • Experience integrating CI/CD tools such as Git/SVN, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, customer engagement, and self-management skills.
  • Ability to travel routinely to client sites.
  • Preferred: cloud certifications, a computer science degree, low-code or AI platform experience, graph databases, vectorization techniques, or governmental security clearances.
