Description

  • Drive scoping and execution of initiatives supporting the Mission Autonomy business line.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, program managers, chief engineers, test and evaluation, business operations, and finance teams to meet objectives.
  • Support the execution of functional engineering roadmaps so they align with long-term strategic priorities and program needs.
  • Lead early-phase programs won through the capture process.
  • Manage external customer relationships for customer-facing programs.
  • Coordinate across technical stakeholders and communicate plans and outcomes clearly.
  • Balance multiple initiatives concurrently and adapt to changing program needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Technical career background.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%.
  • Deep familiarity with subsystems and robotics systems previously worked on.
  • Understanding of technical tradeoffs and how to reduce risk through development efforts.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, influencing engineering teams, and interacting with leadership stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication skills for conveying complex plans and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance; clearance not required to apply.
  • Direct experience leading product development or Unmanned Vehicle (UxV) development in robotics sectors, preferred.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software development practices for autonomous robotics systems, preferred.
  • Startup experience and comfort wearing multiple hats beyond the formal job scope, preferred.
