Description

Write and maintain core libraries and services for collaborative robotic systems, including frame transformations, targeting, and guidance.
Own major feature development and rollout for large, complex product capabilities from analysis through deployment.
Perform systems analysis, sensor selection and integration, and perception architecture and implementation.
Develop motion planning, health management, behavior analysis, simulation, and test infrastructure.
Implement scalable subsystems such as sensor processing, perception, tracking, anomaly detection, and vehicle interfaces.
Work with Anduril and third-party hardware teams to align on requirements and iterate toward final designs.
Collaborate with operational subject matter experts during product development.
Support interfaces between lower-level and higher-level systems to ensure products work together effectively.

Requirements

Strong engineering background from industry or school in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
3+ years of C++ or Rust experience in a Linux development environment.
Demonstrated experience leading projects or teams and mentoring other engineers.
Proven understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and code optimization.
Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
MS in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience programming for embedded and physical devices preferred.
Experience with motion planning, perception, localization, mapping, controls, or related system performance metrics preferred.
Understanding of systems software such as kernels, device drivers, and system calls, with optimization for limited resources preferred.
Experience with sensor characterization and analysis preferred.
