Description

Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance software systems and APIs.
Collaborate with Product and Data Science teams to identify opportunities and deliver customer experiences.
Mentor mid- to senior-level engineers and help raise the quality and robustness of the platform.
Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, system performance, and customer satisfaction.
Own technical decisions related to API versioning, rate limiting, and white-labeling strategies.
Contribute to building a world-class developer ecosystem for global partners and hotel chains.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, high-performing distributed systems.
Proven experience building public-facing consumer-grade APIs.
Experience managing API versioning, deprecation, and consumption-based rate limiting.
Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Kotlin, or similar modern backend languages is a plus.
Experience with AWS is a plus.
Strong understanding of software design principles, scalability, and system architecture.
Preference for Domain-Driven Design.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and work collaboratively.
Hands-on, results-oriented mindset.

Benefits

Competitive base salary of $148,200 to $220,000 USD.
Equity and/or variable pay (OTE) may be included in total compensation.
