Description

  • Determine and develop approaches to achieve test and evaluation goals and execute test activities with minimal supervision.
  • Own testing and evaluation requirements for assigned programs.
  • Support testing at private and government-owned test ranges.
  • Deconflict test events internally with other Anduril programs and efforts.
  • Ensure safe operation of testing efforts in accordance with established procedures and practices.
  • Work with engineers to review test results, collected data, and observations.
  • Collect and perform initial analysis of test data for systems under test.
  • Document test procedures and results and produce detailed reports for engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with government test ranges to test and evaluate systems and software.
  • Coordinate with customers and Anduril security teams to conduct classified-capability testing in unclassified settings while following required protocols.
  • Integrate Anduril’s test and evaluation process into programs and ensure adherence throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Program Management and Technical Leads to define future support needs for successful system testing and validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Current Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • 5+ years of test engineering experience or comparable experience, such as military exercise planning and evaluation.
  • Experience producing customer-facing test deliverables such as test plans, test reports, and data analysis.
  • Experience as a test conductor, test director, or in a similar test role.
  • Ability to quickly understand new concepts and solve problems across multiple engineering areas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
  • Willingness to test and evaluate both software and hardware products.
  • Ability to travel as needed for program events and testing, including between local offices.
  • Experience with the Department of Defense or Government Cyber Commands/Agencies (preferred).
  • Experience with the National Airspace System, UAS regulations, or other flight-related regulations (preferred).
  • Experience conducting software testing or software quality assurance (preferred).
  • Experience with software-defined radios (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of radio frequency theory and/or communication physics (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of a programming language such as C++, Python, or MATLAB (preferred).
  • Experience using Linux distributions such as Ubuntu or Debian, or using a command-line interface on another operating system (preferred).
