Description

  • Define the software roadmap for core TRS products including Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius.
  • Own delivery outcomes across multiple programs by executing on broad and ambiguous requirements.
  • Coordinate and run frequent test events, including software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, flight tests, and demonstrations.
  • Partner with engineering and product leaders to drive program execution, team velocity, and organizational scaling.
  • Align staffing and program plans to the technical roadmap and company milestones.
  • Manage, unblock, and accelerate cross-team projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve systemic execution issues and key cross-team dependencies.
  • Track, communicate, and report progress on key programs and group status.
  • Support quarterly and ongoing staffing plans, especially when prioritization conflicts arise.
  • Understand technical implementation at the architectural level and propose alternatives when needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer in autonomous systems, robotics, or software development.
  • Strong familiarity with robotics or computer vision systems and their architecture is preferred.
  • Solid technical aptitude with the ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, and risks.
  • Experience working in a rapidly iterating test environment with high software integration.
  • Strong project management experience with practical familiarity in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Experience building software and testing programs from the ground up is preferred.
  • Ability to work in organizations with minimal structure and minimal direction is preferred.
  • Experience rolling out disruptive organizational process changes is preferred.
  • Experience creating communication plans for different stakeholder levels is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to support decisions are preferred.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC-PEN, Prosci, SAFe, or PMP are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline is preferred.
