Description

  • Define KPIs and metrics for enterprise events and report on performance and ROI.
  • Innovate new event initiatives to strengthen SmithRx’s presence at industry events and owned programs.
  • Manage the end-to-end event budget and ensure programs stay on time and on budget.
  • Lead planning and execution of small to medium-sized business event portfolios, including sponsorships, dinners, experiences, and regional field events.
  • Oversee event logistics such as venue sourcing, vendor negotiation and management, swag and collateral production, shipping, and on-site execution.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on pre-event promotion, at-event engagement, and post-event follow-up campaigns.
  • Enable the sales team for events through pre-event briefings, on-site schedule management, and lead handoff support.
  • Shape event experiences that support brand perception and business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in B2B event marketing, conferences or tradeshows, or field events.
  • Experience managing tradeshows and corporate events from conception to completion; health-tech experience is a plus.
  • Strong project management and budget management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to take initiative, work proactively, and manage both detailed deliverables and broader event strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with experience building relationships with sales leaders, executives, vendors, and clients.
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort using event technologies, CRM systems such as Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to planning and execution.
