Description

  • Use advanced sourcing techniques, market research, and competitive intelligence to map target companies and identify passive leadership talent.
  • Initiate and build tailored relationships with high-caliber business development, capture management, and sales candidates.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines for critical growth roles to support market capture and hiring needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to define target profiles and align sourcing strategy with business growth goals.
  • Analyze sourcing metrics, response rates, and market data to improve outreach and talent acquisition workflows.
  • Support executive-level talent scouting at the intersection of recruiting, technology, and business development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in sourcing or recruiting.
  • Proven success hiring for business development, capture, sales, or account management roles.
  • Deep understanding of the business development lifecycle, including pipeline development, proposal management, and capture strategy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build credibility with candidates.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other modern sourcing tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to sourcing and market mapping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Preferred: deep understanding of Government Business Development (GovCon), federal procurement, capture management, and proposal phases.
  • Preferred: familiarity with defense acquisition cycles, military customer demographics, or DoD sales.
  • Preferred: experience with Greenhouse, Gem, AI tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Preferred: ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and solve hard-to-fill requisitions creatively.
