Description

  • Drive product development quality for Sentry products and variants through design reviews, process development, verification, validation, and qualification of parts, subassemblies, and system deployments.
  • Resolve ambiguities related to product maturity, process stability, and field performance that affect volume production quality and reliability goals.
  • Drive sustainable and predictable quality performance across low-rate, high-complexity manufacturing processes and supply chains.
  • Own efforts to reduce product risk and improve reliability across the full product lifecycle, from concept through manufacturing and field use.
  • Ensure product and process requirements are executed, and help define and improve those requirements.
  • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including review of corrective action effectiveness and sharing lessons learned.
  • Lead product health data analysis and quality improvement efforts, including establishing metrics and responding to out-of-specification conditions.
  • Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, including documentation and required activities.
  • Support investigations, initiatives, and projects as needed at the team or organization level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
  • Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality for surveillance, defense, or similar hardware.
  • Working knowledge of design review and quality management for PCBA, harnessing, mechanical structures, systems integration, power systems, radar, vision systems/optical image capture, networking/communication protocols, and remote management systems.
  • Experience driving product quality and performance requirements into test and measurement system development and optimization.
  • Experience leading the transition from engineering qualification to manufacturing variance testing for product quality coverage.
  • Working knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and GD&T.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, requirements, quality clauses, and SOWs.
  • Working knowledge of Configuration Management and Document Control.
  • Strong ownership mindset with demonstrated ability to drive projects from start to completion.
  • Analytical experience with data mining, data quality, metrics generation, issue management systems, and statistical analysis tools such as MatLab, JMP, or MiniTab.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Master’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience developing quality systems for low-volume, highly complex manufacturing environments and suppliers.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements.
  • Experience with IPC standards and strong ESD and FOD prevention and mitigation practices.
  • Experience with government contracts and military standard requirements.
  • Experience with Teamcenter, SolidWorks, Jira, and Tableau.
