Description

  • Lead the Altius Product Operations team and align operations with customer missions and delivered product capabilities.
  • Triage, diagnose, root cause, and manage product incidents through resolution.
  • Drive postmortem actions and provide status visibility to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering teams to turn individual incidents into systemic reliability improvements.
  • Support telemetry review, diagnostics, and issue containment using Linux and command-line tools.
  • Assess and improve fleet observability and health telemetry across the Altius team.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze system failure data to identify trends and inform sustainment decisions.
  • Support global customers with proactive communication, incident tracking, mitigation, and resolution updates.
  • Evaluate customer feedback to identify capability requirements, performance indicators, and desired functionality.
  • Guide and mentor the team by setting goals, establishing standards, and improving sustainment processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience mastering technical systems and supporting product operations in unstructured situations.
  • Experience solving problems at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance; prior clearances or background investigations are a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support customer needs and operations.
  • Ability to be local to or relocate to Atlanta, GA.
  • Ability to drive ambiguous technical problems to clarity and resolution (preferred).
  • Experience guiding and mentoring a team, setting goals, and improving process and standards (preferred).
  • Experience supporting or deploying loitering munitions or UAS as a DoD contractor or DoD end user (preferred).
  • Experience with incident-driven workflows involving analysis, triage, prioritization, and reporting (preferred).
  • Experience in on-call support operations and low-risk-tolerance environments (preferred).
  • Experience defining and supervising sustainment and reliability processes for a defense-focused product or service (preferred).
  • Experience with observability tooling such as Grafana and software development tools such as Git and Jira (preferred).
  • Military, DoD, or other government agency experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours and weekends as needed.
  • Project management and/or consulting experience preferred.
