Description

  • Own feature development and software solutions deployed to customers.
  • Write code to improve products and scale mission capability to more customers.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
  • Create and analyze metrics used for debugging and monitoring.
  • Triage issues, identify root causes, and coordinate next steps.
  • Work with Anduril teams, third-party hardware teams, and operational subject matter experts to define requirements and iterate on designs.
  • Write and maintain core libraries and services for collaborative robotic systems, including motion deconfliction and contingency management.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the field.

Requirements

  • Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • 2+ years of professional industry experience with C++ or Rust.
  • Experience building software solutions that involve significant data processing and analysis.
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
  • Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact.
  • Bias for action, extreme ownership, and the ability to take projects from concept to production.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active UKSV Security Clearance.
  • Preferred: Strong background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to support modeling, simulation, and physical systems.
  • Preferred: Experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments.
  • Preferred: Feature and algorithm development experience with behavior trees.
  • Preferred: Experience developing software or hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality.
  • Preferred: Experience with distributed communication networks and message standards.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics.
