Description

  • Partner with leaders across Europe and globally on people, performance and organizational matters.
  • Drive performance management practices and support managers in addressing underperformance and developing teams.
  • Support organizational transformation, employee consultations and transitions during periods of change.
  • Manage employee relations and employment compliance, with primary ownership of German employment law.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, including proactive sourcing, assessment and hiring for critical roles.
  • Improve people operations, onboarding, employee experience and workforce planning for a distributed workforce.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement and high performance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in HR business partnering, people operations or a similar role, ideally in a technology or international business.
  • Strong practical knowledge of German employment law, including employee relations, performance management, organizational change and employment processes.
  • Experience guiding leaders through uncertainty, transformation and challenging people decisions.
  • Experience building high-performance cultures, including manager coaching, accountability and underperformance management.
  • Hands-on end-to-end talent acquisition and direct sourcing experience.
  • Professional working proficiency in German and strong written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrated ownership, sound judgment and ability to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of French employment law, French language skills and experience supporting employees in France (preferred).
  • Experience recruiting software engineers and product engineers (preferred).
  • Experience in SaaS, high-growth technology or globally distributed remote-first organizations (preferred).
