Description

  • Cold call, prospect, and conduct frequent product demonstrations for corporate intelligence departments.
  • Own end-to-end new business sales across the corporate vertical, from first outreach through deal close.
  • Research opportunities, initiate discussions, and build relationships with prospects and clients.
  • Manage a high volume of product trials and guide prospects through the purchase process.
  • Forecast accurately and build a pipeline strong enough to meet or exceed quota.
  • Work closely with the Product Specialist team during trials to secure client commitment.
  • Gather feedback from clients and prospects and share it with sales and product teams.
  • Sell into corporate market segments such as Life Sciences, Technology, Media and Telecom, Professional Services, CPG, Energy, and Industrials.

Requirements

  • Accomplished sales professional with experience selling into corporate industry markets.
  • Experience in SaaS sales, preferably focused on financial information and/or research solutions, is preferred.
  • Ability to build pipeline, manage a heavy volume of product trials, and handle complex sales conversations.
  • Strong work ethic, tenacity, and a "never give up" attitude.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to uncover business challenges at all organizational levels, from analysts to C-level executives.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex financial data and concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Comfort communicating virtually via video, by phone, and in writing.
  • Knowledge of buyer personas such as Corporate Strategy, Market Intelligence, Business Development, M&A, Investor Relations, and research-related functions.
  • Coachable mindset with openness to feedback and participation in training and development programs.
