Description

  • Manage a book of business and serve as the main point of contact for financial services clients.
  • Build three-dimensional relationships with customers and key stakeholders to retain and grow accounts.
  • Handle inbound client queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates, and renewal discussions.
  • Drive product adoption across additional business units within existing client accounts.
  • Identify revenue at risk and work to prevent churn.
  • Forecast retention rates and track retention performance across the portfolio.
  • Partner with Account Executives to identify and close growth opportunities.
  • Understand client organizations to communicate effectively with users and decision-makers and identify white space.
  • Lead business reviews, onboarding, and training initiatives for new users.
  • Act as the client advocate within AlphaSense and the AlphaSense advocate to the client.
  • Collect client value stories and product feedback and share insights with product, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Plan proactive outreach and in-person engagement such as floor walks and lunch-and-learns.

Requirements

  • Experience managing and growing relationships with Fortune 1000 clients and/or financial services companies.
  • Strong relationship-building ability and demonstrated success developing rapport with new people.
  • Business acumen and experience with internal and external relationship management.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and work with intellectual curiosity.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex issues in simple terms.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders from analyst level to C-level executives.
  • Understanding of best practices for client engagement in a SaaS environment.
  • Exposure to AI and/or research-based products is preferred.
  • Strong grit, work ethic, initiative, enthusiasm, and commitment to results.
