Description

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers and business stakeholders.
  • Provide high-quality technical solutions, product training, and implementation guidance.
  • Connect business processes and outcomes to technical solution design.
  • Execute delivery methodology to complete projects on time and on budget.
  • Troubleshoot customer implementation issues and drive resolutions.
  • Prototype and catalog solutions that address customer pain points.
  • Advise on architecture, indexing, search, and UI best practices.
  • Expand product usage and relationships within the enterprise segment.
  • Participate in customer calls and on-site visits to inform product roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with internal teams to define action plans, roadmaps, recommendations, and retrospectives.
  • Create reusable solution content, tooling, and internal resources to scale customer engagement.
  • Work with Engineering and Product teams to track feature requests, bugs, and platform changes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing, deeply technical, and consultative role.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing Search & Discovery experiences, ideally in ecommerce.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, including flattening relational data.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end work.
  • Proficiency in a backend framework such as Node, Rails, or Django.
  • Strong consulting skills and the ability to handle sensitive client topics tactfully.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on project management experience.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage risk, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills across both technology and business communities.
  • A growth mindset, high attention to detail, and a consistent record of business-building success.
  • Experience with analytics and A/B testing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, CMS, or DXP verticals is preferred.
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms is preferred.
  • Experience designing and developing generative AI and agentic applications is preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-growth SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Experience supporting open-source projects and GitHub communities is preferred.
  • Experience with Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce is a plus.

  • On-target earnings of $173,000 to $209,500 AUD, including base salary and commission.
