Description

  • Own and manage a large portfolio of existing commercial customers to retain and grow recurring revenue.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives, use cases, and success criteria to identify expansion opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for accounts and build trust-based relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Lead account planning and execution strategies that align Algolia’s solutions to customer goals.
  • Conduct renewals, pricing discussions, and expansion conversations within the install base.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Support, and other teams to address customer needs and remove blockers.
  • Monitor account health and usage signals to identify risk early and prevent churn or contraction.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management for the book of business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by bringing insights, best practices, and a consultative approach to customers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS sales or account management role with renewals and expansion responsibility.
  • Experience managing and growing a book of business in account management, customer growth, renewals, or an account executive role with an install base focus.
  • Proven ability to identify and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Strong customer-first mindset and interest in building long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Comfort operating in a high-growth, dynamic environment while managing a high volume of accounts and prioritizing detail.
  • Experience with SaaS, APIs, or developer-focused products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based business models is preferred.
  • Background working with eCommerce or digital experience platforms is preferred.
