Description

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and align technical strategies with customer business outcomes.
  • Lead technical discovery discussions to uncover pain points and translate them into architectural requirements.
  • Design end-to-end solutions using IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, and the company's security and delivery portfolio.
  • Deliver customized product demonstrations and technical presentations that show the business impact of proposed solutions.
  • Scope and execute Proof of Concepts to validate technical feasibility and economic value.
  • Serve as the technical lead for RFP and RFI responses.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with CTOs, DevOps teams, and Infrastructure Engineers.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify customer challenges and recommend matching technical architectures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant B2B pre-sales experience in cloud infrastructure or web security.
  • Fluent business Russian and English.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and managing workloads in major cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
  • Direct experience with GCP and/or IBM Cloud is a significant advantage.
  • Deep technical experience with web infrastructure, including web servers, reverse proxies such as Nginx or HAProxy, and load balancers.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including the OSI model, TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
  • Strong understanding of server hardware, including compute and storage, and virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency with container technologies, orchestration, microservices, and serverless computing.
  • Expertise in CDN performance optimization, caching, and DDoS protection.
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Presales, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and explain the business justification for technical investments.
  • Ability to communicate complex infrastructure and cloud concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or automation scripting with Python, Bash, or another language is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Architect, IBM Cloud Professional Architect, or networking certifications are preferred.
