Description

  • Own the customer journey from paid customer to completing, renewing, and expanding client.
  • Define the activation metric and track progress weekly.
  • Build kickoff, milestone, save, and escalation playbooks from scratch.
  • Run a small onboarding team and grow the team as the product line scales.
  • Decide what processes should be templated, removed, or escalated.
  • Bridge sales promises to delivery reality without losing customer momentum.
  • Ship onboarding improvements quickly, with changes made in days rather than quarters.
  • Own the proof point, intervention, and metric that demonstrate onboarding success.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in customer onboarding, success, account management, or implementation in a high-velocity environment.
  • Experience building or rebuilding a 30-60-90 day onboarding flow within the last 24 months.
  • Experience working in a fast online education, SaaS, agency, coaching, or info-product company that ships weekly.
  • Proven ownership of an activation, completion, or retention metric with measurable improvement.
  • Experience managing at least 2 to 5 direct reports, such as CSMs, onboarding specialists, or implementation managers.
  • Comfort working with US and UK customers and teammates across time zones.
  • Native or near-native written and spoken English.
  • Sharp, fast, low-ego, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
  • Bias to act quickly and take ownership of the customer experience.
  • Preferred: experience inside a newer product offering where onboarding needed to catch up with growth.
