Description

  • Manage assigned technical projects and provide a single point of knowledge and control across the project portfolio.
  • Guide project teams and client organizations in Agile/Scrum practices and servant-leadership ways of working.
  • Remove impediments, facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution, and support self-organization.
  • Support product sponsors with backlog grooming and maintain transparent communication across stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate technical projects from initiation through delivery, including scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Define project roles, allocate resources, and coordinate work across internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, issues, budget, timeline, and quality to keep work on track.
  • Manage vendor/subcontractor deliverables and support project closure, handover documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Use AHEAD systems such as Salesforce and FinancialForce to keep project information current.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend or implement improvements to project management coordination.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to independently manage medium- to high-risk, high-complexity, high-visibility projects.
  • Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices, including PMBOK.
  • Solid understanding of IT project methodologies and life cycles, including conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, and traditional waterfall phases.
  • Must have experience with data center infrastructure hardware and/or software.
  • Advanced skills in project management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective interaction with executive-level clients.
  • Must be adept with negotiation techniques and able to manage differing viewpoints.
  • Knowledge of the company's products and services is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive assignments.
