Description

  • Advance data center development workstreams from site acquisition or joint venture through asset disposition, tracking milestones and resolving issues.
  • Coordinate federal, state, and local permitting activities, consultants, timelines, and open items.
  • Support utility interconnection, behind-the-meter power, and battery energy storage workstreams.
  • Support project-level financing through diligence materials, Excel models, lender requests, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Participate in procurement of long-lead data center equipment.
  • Evaluate engineering, legal, consulting, investor, and contractor deliverables for scope, schedule, cost, and quality gaps.
  • Maintain project risk registers, development schedules, budgets, and executive status reports.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating site, construction, power, engineering, procurement, and interconnection agreements.
  • Coordinate legal and regulatory risk assessments with internal and external counsel.
  • Serve as a central coordinator across investment, legal, capital markets, engineering, procurement, leasing, construction, and external partners.
  • Support investment committee processes, including financial models, project narratives, and transaction diligence materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD, MBA, MSRE, or MSRED strongly preferred.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in data center, energy, infrastructure, or industrial development.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder project environments.
  • Working knowledge of real estate development, ownership structures, land use, and entitlement processes.
  • Working knowledge of debt, equity, and construction financing for infrastructure or real estate projects.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local permitting processes for large-scale development.
  • Knowledge of data center power infrastructure, including utility interconnection, behind-the-meter solutions, and battery energy storage systems.
  • Ability to evaluate engineering and legal deliverables, identify gaps, and drive resolution independently.
  • Ability to coordinate consultants, contractors, counsel, utilities, and other external partners.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% to project sites, stakeholder meetings, and company offices.
