Description

  • Design and implement complex, mission-critical enterprise technical solutions for clients.
  • Lead modernization efforts for enterprise customers on AWS and Azure.
  • Serve as a technical thought leader and subject matter expert for partners, customers, and service providers.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical direction on a project-by-project basis and across internal initiatives.
  • Support cloud migration assessment, planning, and execution using tools such as Migration Hub, AWS MGN, Azure Migrate, ModelizeIT, and VMware vRNI.
  • Apply cloud security, compliance, monitoring, logging, automation, and cost optimization best practices.
  • Build and support containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh, GitOps, and related networking technologies.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code solutions for automation and deployment.
  • Develop scripts and automations using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Work with VMware technologies and support VM migration using VMware HCX.
  • Develop AI platforms and RAG-based applications using cloud-native AI services and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of IT experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud, migration, automation, application modernization, or digital transformation.
  • Experience working in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, and GCP architecture and services.
  • Proficiency with core cloud services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, Security Groups, KMS, and related operational practices.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts including VPNs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and container networking.
  • Experience with AWS/Azure migration tools and planning platforms such as Migration Hub, AWS MGN, Azure Migrate, ModelizeIT, or VMware vRNI.
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, AKS, service mesh, GitOps, and blue-green deployment.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Spacelift, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline/CodeDeploy.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Bicep, Boto3, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Working knowledge of VMware technologies including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and HCX.
  • Experience developing AI platforms using tools such as AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, or Google Vertex.
  • Knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain and LangSmith, including RAG-based application development.
  • Multiple professional, associate, or specialty certifications preferred, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Networking/Security Specialty, Azure Administrator Associate, CKA/CKAD/CKS, Terraform Associate, Argo Certified Engineer, or Istio Certified Engineer.
  • Strong consulting, business acumen, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
