Description

  • Design and implement infrastructure on AWS using Terraform/OpenTofu, Python, and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and machine learning teams to improve cloud infrastructure and developer experience.
  • Build and maintain internal platform tools, developer templates, and self-service CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure and operations tasks through scripting and tooling.
  • Operationalize cloud security by enforcing vulnerability remediation, IAM policies, and compliance guardrails.
  • Monitor system and network performance and take proactive action to protect availability and reliability.
  • Enforce IAM processes and tools that support data privacy and protection compliance.
  • Work with engineers to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Modernize and support the production EKS footprint and managed cloud datastores such as AWS RDS, Aurora, and ElastiCache.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure role focused on public cloud environments.
  • AWS experience required, with familiarity with services such as EKS, SageMaker, EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, KMS, RDS, ELB/ALB, MWAA, and Identity Center.
  • Experience building modular, reusable infrastructure with Terraform or OpenTofu.
  • Experience building and maintaining templates and packages with Helm.
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and/or ArgoCD.
  • Hands-on experience administering, scaling, and troubleshooting multi-tenant Kubernetes (EKS) environments in production.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation, tools, and integrations.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Remote candidates must reside within the United States.
  • Experience with Karpenter and cloud cost optimization techniques (preferred).
  • Familiarity with developer self-service tooling or internal developer portals (preferred).
  • Experience with logging analysis, performance monitoring, and performance tuning (preferred).
  • Background supporting ML or data science workloads in cloud environments, such as SageMaker integrations or feature stores (preferred).
