Description

  • Participate in, lead, and coordinate AHEAD’s virtual team for Network Infrastructure.
  • Work with partner management and selected vendors to maintain technical and sales relationships.
  • Design, architect, and occasionally consult on network solutions for AHEAD clients.
  • Support sales teams with advice, solutions, and proposals aligned to customer technical and business needs.
  • Develop relationships with account managers, partners, and customers to support sales objectives.
  • Strategize and execute technical sales calls.
  • Prepare pre-sales documentation, including configurations, pricing, services, presentations, and justifications.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, decision-making process, and funding.
  • Present and market proposed AHEAD solutions and business justification to customers, prospects, and management.
  • Mentor entry-level team members and leverage subject matter experts to scale account coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Cisco certifications are required, such as CCIE or CCNP.
  • Strong mastery of Cisco routing and switching, datacenter technologies, and LAN/WLAN technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus 9K, ACI, 7K, 5K, 2K, and 1K platforms.
  • Experience with converged network fabrics and converged infrastructure systems.
  • Knowledge of IP routing protocols, Layer 2 technologies, Cisco core datacenter technologies, ACI, network management, MPLS, DMVPN, multicast, firewalls, VPN, and IPSec/L2TP.
  • Experience with network security and other related technologies.
  • Familiarity with VMware/VMware NSX, Palo Alto, Arista, Fortinet, automation, and F5/NetScaler is preferred.
  • Experience with Amazon AWS, Azure, or cloud networking and connectivity is required or strongly preferred.
  • Pre-sales and data center experience is required.
  • Experience working as a technical lead in a pre-sales sales campaign.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, influence others, and work independently as a self-starter.
  • Customer-focused, results-driven, and able to work well in a team and partner environment.
