Description

  • Support the inside sales team as the technical voice and trusted advisor for prospects and customers.
  • Assist with product demonstrations, system configurations, technical questions, and removal of technical barriers in the sales process.
  • Deliver technical presentations and qualification sessions via Zoom or other communication channels.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers, resellers, Inside Account Executives, and management regarding product applications, pricing, and ongoing projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings across DAS, NAS, and SAN.
  • Understand competitor products to recommend appropriate Pure Storage replacement solutions.
  • Create account and territory plans for key accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Follow up on proposals, leads, and customer requests to help drive sales growth objectives.
  • Use established programs and sizing tools to recommend product performance solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Work with Engineering and Product Management to define product requirements and usability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the technology industry or other relevant technical experience.
  • Must speak French fluently.
  • Strong phone presence and experience in a high-volume customer interaction environment.
  • Preparation and delivery experience for technical product and architecture presentations.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Solid knowledge of VMware, Windows, UNIX OS variants such as Linux and AIX, NFS file systems, and network environments.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred.
  • Domestic overnight travel required 5-10% of the time.
