Description

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data center and infrastructure projects from initiation through closure.
  • Collaborate with account teams and pre-sales specialists to assess client priorities and build project plans and backlogs.
  • Develop, define, and execute project plans and agile boards.
  • Coordinate resources and work with subcontracting teams when needed to support project success.
  • Manage project risks, issues, progress, scope, quality, and deadlines.
  • Serve as the liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve PMO processes and procedures.
  • Use tools such as Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Jira to manage project work.
  • Build customer relationships and help identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Set clear expectations, manage team performance, and maintain high morale among project team members.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT infrastructure or data center environments, including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Modern Workspace or Microsoft-related experience is a plus.
  • Financial and resource management experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira.
  • Ability to independently manage medium- to high-risk projects in customer environments.
  • Applied knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices, including PMBOK.
  • Foundational understanding of IT project methodologies and life cycles, including conversion, incremental, rapid delivery, and traditional waterfall phases.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with executive-level clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to reach agreement among differing viewpoints.
  • Ability to show initiative outside of core responsibilities when needed.
