Description

  • Own project scoping and feasibility by engaging customers, co-creating study designs, and defining success criteria.
  • Lead project setup by drafting protocols, instructions, workflows, and platform configurations.
  • Design and operationalize rater pipelines, including onboarding, training, quality assurance, and performance tracking.
  • Run pilots, evaluate feasibility, cost, quality, and throughput, and iterate for scale.
  • Project manage delivery to timelines and budgets while providing proactive customer updates and insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Data, Product, and Engineering on automation opportunities, task templates, and reusable solutions.
  • Document learnings through playbooks, case studies, and standardized workflows to improve operational readiness.
  • Work directly with clients, researchers, and product teams from initial conversation through operational execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, product, or customer-facing delivery roles.
  • Experience in a high-growth, data- or tech-focused environment is ideal.
  • Strong analytical and systems thinking skills, with experience designing and delivering operational processes.
  • Comfort working with technical stakeholders and learning new tools, platforms, or frameworks quickly.
  • Ability to translate abstract problems into structured plans and execute with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong project management and cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, complexity, and building something new from scratch.
  • Curiosity and passion for AI, data quality, and responsible model development.
  • Experience in data labeling, annotation, rater workflows, or evaluation tasks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or tools like Notion, Zapier, Asana, and Miro is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LLM applications, model evaluation frameworks, or human-in-the-loop systems is preferred.
  • Experience managing domain experts, linguists, programmers, or other specialized raters is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $150,000-$200,000 per year for full-time roles in San Francisco or New York.
