Description

  • Lead a team of 10-15 engineers and architects.
  • Build individualized career development plans for team members.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports, including onboarding new employees.
  • Manage employee performance through recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action.
  • Oversee bench time, utilization, and alignment to individual and solution development goals.
  • Work with practice leadership to adjust staffing plans based on sales pipeline, capacity, and capabilities.
  • Maintain the team’s skills and certification inventory.
  • Support a culture of quality, ownership, high performance, trust, and accountability.
  • Participate in pre-sales, scoping, proposal development, pricing, and statements of work.
  • Work with project managers and resource management to identify appropriate project resources.
  • Serve as a key contact for projects staffed by the team and join kick-off, status, close-out, and escalation meetings.
  • Provide technical architectural guidance and continuously improve scoping and delivery based on lessons learned.
  • Help define the solution development roadmap and contribute directly to solution development activities.
  • Contribute to external evangelism through blog posts, user groups, conferences, and internal briefings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing ITSM, CSM, ITBM, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and/or Event Management.
  • Mastery in at least one ServiceNow suite.
  • Broad technical skills, business acumen, and a strong desire to support clients.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and coaching people.
  • Ability to understand implemented solutions in detail and communicate the high-level vision to clients.
  • Ability to think beyond products and design solutions that meet business and IT needs.
  • Ability to communicate solution architecture effectively to clients, third parties, and internal teams.
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and visualize solutions.
  • Ability to foster teamwork among delivery teams.
  • Proficiency in hardware, software, and/or operating systems environments.
  • Ability to manage a team environment.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience presenting and facilitating executive-level meetings, group presentations, and collaborative technical workshops.
