Description

  • Own all technical aspects of the sales cycle and communicate the value of Forter’s solutions.
  • Present fraud prevention, policy-building, and e-commerce optimization solutions to technical and business audiences.
  • Work closely with Sales and Business Development to meet with clients and address technical questions during the sales process.
  • Conduct solution deep dives with clients and partners to understand business goals and how Forter can help achieve them.
  • Remove barriers for prospects by clearly explaining Forter’s integration technology and helping scope projects.
  • Prepare and deliver solution messaging that highlights Forter’s value proposition and differentiators.
  • Partner with Product and R&D teams to share client feedback and roadmap insights.
  • Collaborate with Implementation and Customer Success as a key business advisor and payments product advocate.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role with an enterprise B2B product in the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, fraud prevention, identities, and/or payments landscapes.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies and APIs in relation to merchant-facing solutions.
  • Superior analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Proven analysis and problem-solving expertise.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience delivering presentations and demonstrations to senior-level business and technical audiences.
  • Ability to learn and assimilate technical information quickly.
  • Fluency in German and English.
