Description

  • Mentor, coach, and support the professional development of technical consultants.
  • Manage a team of 6 to 8 technical consultants and provide oversight and escalation support on projects.
  • Partner with delivery leadership to ensure projects meet business-defined KPIs.
  • Deliver projects on time and to high quality standards while exceeding client expectations.
  • Design and implement complex, mission-critical, enterprise-grade technical solutions for clients.
  • Build and maintain client relationships and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Develop technical and non-technical deliverables and presentations for client engineering teams and senior leaders.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand technical challenges and create tailored solutions.
  • Create and present solution designs, options, and innovations to client leadership teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and service portfolios.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, including at least 5+ years specializing in cloud networking and DevOps.
  • Experience leading technical oversight and leadership in a consulting environment.
  • Strong consulting and business acumen.
  • Ability to whiteboard and develop solutions in front of a customer.
  • In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, load balancing, and container networking with Kubernetes.
  • Expert-level credentials such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, or Palo Alto Certified Solutions Engineer.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on programming experience with Java, Python, or another development language.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or PowerBI for KPI tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading end-to-end design of scalable, resilient, secure cloud networking architectures across multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
