Description

  • Lead, configure, maintain, and support Workday HCM setup, including core configuration, organization structures, and business process frameworks.
  • Partner with cross-functional People and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Own reporting, calculated fields, and security configurations that provide accurate insights across the employee life cycle.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including SOPs, configuration guides, and process maps.
  • Contribute across other Workday domains and internal tools based on project needs and interests.
  • Stay current on Workday releases and People Technology trends to identify enhancement and automation opportunities.
  • Explore and contribute to other internal tools and technologies beyond Workday within the People Technology ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of hands-on Workday experience, including 2-3 years focused on HCM configuration and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of HCM fundamentals, including Hire, Change Job, and Termination processes.
  • Knowledge of configuration concepts such as condition rules, organizations, hierarchies, and custom objects.
  • Strong proficiency in Advanced Reporting and Calculated Fields, with the ability to build complex cross-domain reports.
  • Working knowledge of Workday Security, including constrained and unconstrained roles and segmented security.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process efficiency and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate business needs into system design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience supporting additional Workday modules such as Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, or Talent is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, and Studio, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HCM rollouts, testing frameworks, release management, or regression testing is preferred.
  • Experience working in an international or fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Workday certification in HCM or other modules is preferred.
  • Applicants for Kuala Lumpur and Gurgaon must already be eligible to work locally; Bangkok-based candidates receive full relocation support.
