Description

  • Lead and manage a remote team of Account Executives to achieve individual, team, and overall sales goals.
  • Coach and develop direct reports to improve revenue generation, customer success, and overall sales performance.
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings to support and guide the sales team.
  • Hire, train, and ramp new Account Executives on the sales process.
  • Monitor sales execution, KPIs, forecasting, hourly/daily metrics, and pipeline management.
  • Run weekly pipeline review and forecast meetings with Account Executives.
  • Build predictable, repeatable sales funnel processes and best practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership on sales strategy, planning, and execution.
  • Use customer feedback to help improve products and inform business decisions.
  • Create a culture of trust, accountability, high performance, and effective communication within the team.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of sales management experience, preferably leading quota-carrying Account Executives or full-cycle sellers.
  • 3 years of documented individual sales success exceeding target.
  • Experience hiring, training, and ramping new Account Executives.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and inspire change.
  • Leadership and coaching experience with a desire to help others succeed.
  • Experience creating structure around sales metrics and managing performance against those metrics.
  • Ability to refine decision-making and consider downstream and upstream impacts of decisions.
  • Remote team leadership experience is implied by the role context and preferred team structure.
