Description

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Nordics territory focused on Data Governance, Data Intelligence, and Actian Data Management solutions.
  • Drive new business growth and expand relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue and margin KPIs.
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate strategic partnerships, including organizations using competitor platforms.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposal preparation through negotiation and closure.
  • Maintain and analyze CRM data to track opportunities, manage pipeline, and generate sales insights.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs, ensure satisfaction, and build long-term loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Product teams to align sales strategies.
  • Represent Actian at industry events, conferences, and client workshops.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior sales team members while promoting a high-performance sales culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development in Data Governance, Enterprise Software, SaaS, Cloud, Analytics, or Data Management.
  • Proven experience selling to large enterprises in the Data Governance, Data Intelligence, or MDM space.
  • Familiarity with competitors such as Zeenea, Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Atlan, or Talend is preferred.
  • Commercial or technical degree at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills at senior executive levels.
  • Entrepreneurial, independent, structured, and proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Nordics region.
  • Fluency in English and one Nordic language, with Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian preferred; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
