Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions aligned to business needs.
  • Reverse engineer existing codebases to understand legacy implementations and identify improvements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Integrate Guidewire ClaimCenter with external systems using APIs and related frameworks.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of ClaimCenter implementations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in ClaimCenter and connected integrations.
  • Contribute to system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning efforts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and integration development.
  • Proficiency in Java, with Java 21 preferred.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, with 3.4.x preferred.
  • Ability to reverse engineer and analyze existing codebases to extract business logic and improve system design.
  • Strong understanding of the Guidewire data model, Gosu scripting, and Guidewire Studio.
  • Hands-on experience with SOAP and REST APIs and integration frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Guidewire certification, such as ClaimCenter Specialist, Configuration Developer, or Integration Developer, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
  • Exposure to modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React for Guidewire add-ons is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
