Description

  • Manage and strengthen referring-provider relationships across the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual business development plans to meet targets.
  • Analyze territory opportunities and implement strategies to retain, grow, and win back referral business.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision-makers to address treatment barriers and build community partnerships.
  • Develop referral channels and increase provider awareness of The Emily Program’s services.
  • Coordinate communication and referrals from the initial inquiry through admission for clients, families, and providers.
  • Plan and deliver presentations, tours, conferences, and networking events.
  • Serve as an internal liaison among clients’ treatment teams and external care providers.
  • Manage territory expenses and company credit card activities as assigned.
  • Participate in quarterly field rides and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
  • Behavioral health or eating disorder outreach experience preferred.
  • Clinical background preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in marketing, communications, psychology, or social work.
  • High school diploma plus at least 4 years of relevant experience accepted in place of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Permanent residence in Massachusetts, preferably near the Boston metropolitan area.
  • Ability to travel 70–90% within Massachusetts, Connecticut, and surrounding assigned areas.
  • Availability for occasional evenings and weekends for travel, events, or conferences.

  • Starting salary of $95,000–$125,000.
