Description

  • Contact prospective clients through outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
  • Proactively source new business opportunities within the market.
  • Qualify marketing-generated leads into sales opportunities.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders in a positive, motivating, and collaborative way.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  • Partner effectively across sales teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Abnormal Security’s product offering.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1+ years of proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role; less experience is acceptable for the right candidate.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and connect them to business value.
  • Strong professional communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and time demands concurrently while meeting production goals.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve prospecting and outreach workflows.
  • Drive, grit, and a team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to compete and win.
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
  • Preferred familiarity with Outreach, Salesforce, Orum, Lusha, ActivelyAI, Glean, and Claude.
