Description

  • Create and deliver regional and channel marketing plans and programs for Japan.
  • Drive demand generation, lead generation, and brand awareness in net-new accounts.
  • Set targets, track performance, and analyze program impact on lead funnel and pipeline.
  • Partner with sales leaders, account executives, account managers, and channel managers on regional goals.
  • Define and implement Japan-specific marketing campaigns that combine corporate programs with regional opportunities.
  • Plan and execute field events, regional programs, seminars, webinars, and other in-market activities.
  • Develop and run co-marketing campaigns with key channel partners.
  • Support account-based marketing efforts through account understanding and measurement.
  • Work with AEs and SDRs to ensure effective lead follow-up strategies and tactics.
  • Manage marketing communications and collateral, including invitations, emails, presentations, signage, and related materials.
  • Monitor expenditures and manage programs within approved budget.
  • Travel to regional and company-hosted events as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of high-tech B2B marketing experience.
  • Preferred experience in cybersecurity and working with security practice partners.
  • Experience managing local, regional, and virtual events.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing regional marketing programs and campaigns in the Japanese market.
  • Experience measuring marketing performance across the funnel with a metrics-driven approach.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and respect from sales management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese; business-level fluency required.
  • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel 10-15%.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with budget tracking quarter over quarter and planning 90-180 days ahead.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong data analysis and analytical skills.
  • Experience building successful relationships with sales and channel partners.
