Description

  • Sell Abnormal AI security solutions to SLED agencies and work to exceed new annual recurring revenue quota.
  • Manage accounts from initial conversations through contract signature and post-sale upsell opportunities.
  • Prospect and generate new business within assigned accounts to build sufficient pipeline and meet sales targets.
  • Partner with Customer Success to support timely renewals and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate account and opportunity data across Salesforce, Highspot, and Close Plan.
  • Serve as the customer and prospect voice internally with Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to support prioritization and revenue growth.
  • Develop and present demos and business cases that communicate value and ROI to public sector stakeholders.
  • Navigate complex public sector buying processes, including procurement and RFP cycles.

Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of direct, non-overlay sales experience prospecting and closing SLED accounts.
  • Must be located in Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, or Missouri.
  • Proven track record of closing new logos and growing existing customer accounts through cross-sell and upsell.
  • Experience negotiating with large organizations and closing complex sales.
  • Consistent over-quota performance or top 5% performance in a sales organization.
  • Knowledge of security, email, cloud, and AI concepts.
  • Experience selling subscription software or SaaS to CISOs and security personnel.
  • Experience succeeding in an early-stage, underdog, or new-entrant startup environment with limited resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent work experience.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for bonus or incentive compensation.
