Description

  • Own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts in your territory, from prospecting through contract close and expansion.
  • Sell Abnormal security solutions to exceed annual recurring revenue targets.
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities to build sufficient pipeline for sales goals.
  • Work enterprise accounts with more than 3,000 mailboxes and manage up-sell opportunities after customer acquisition.
  • Partner with Customer Success to support timely renewals and expansion sales.
  • Maintain accurate records and data across Salesforce, Highspot, and Close Plan.
  • Serve as the customer and prospect voice with Sales Engineering/POV, Product, and Marketing to help prioritize revenue-driving actions.
  • Guide internal stakeholders through their own buying processes.
  • Develop and present business cases that demonstrate ROI to multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct enterprise sales experience, including prospecting, closing new logos, and growing major accounts against incumbents.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with large organizations and close complex sales.
  • Consistent over-quota performance or top 5% sales performance.
  • Experience selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security personnel.
  • Technically conversant in security, email, cloud, AI, or related areas.
  • Experience in an early-stage, underdog, or new-entrant startup environment with limited resources.
  • Strong ability to prospect into enterprise accounts using multiple demand-generation sources, including AE prospecting, SDRs, marketing, channel, and customer referrals.
  • Ability to qualify customer pain points and present value-based solutions.
  • Disciplined sales methodology, time management, and strong data integrity habits.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
