Description

  • Sell Abnormal security solutions to enterprise accounts in the assigned territory and work toward overachieving new annual recurring revenue quota.
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities with enterprise organizations to build sufficient pipeline to hit sales targets.
  • Manage enterprise accounts from initial conversations through contract signing and post-sale upsell opportunities.
  • Work with Customer Success to support timely renewals and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent data across sales systems including Salesforce, Highspot, and Close Plan.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and prospect to internal teams including Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to help prioritize opportunities and close revenue.
  • Document sales results, customer insights, and deal learnings for broader team use.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct, non-overlay experience selling into enterprise-sized organizations with 3,000+ employees.
  • Experience prospecting, winning new logos, and expanding major accounts in competitive, incumbent-heavy environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience closing complex sales with large organizations.
  • Consistent top performance, including over-quota achievement or ranking in the top 5% of a sales organization.
  • Technical fluency in security, email, cloud, AI, or related areas.
  • Experience selling subscription software or SaaS to CISOs and security personnel, with average deal sizes of $100k+.
  • Success in an early-stage, underdog, or new-entrant startup environment with limited resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be local to the New York area.
  • Experience building territories with channel partners, technology partners, and early customer wins is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $144,500 to $170,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for bonus or incentive compensation.
  • Eligibility for equity.
