Description

  • Define test strategy for new features, including functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Research use cases, validate code paths, and design test scenarios for fixes and client usage.
  • Execute manual test cases and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Partner with engineers to promote quality standards and adherence to the definition of done.
  • Use and extend existing test automation frameworks, tools, and suites to improve coverage.
  • Collaborate with development and quality engineering teams to fully regress the platform for releases.
  • Participate in release preparation, release tagging, and end-to-end testing across teams.
  • Provide demos of developed features.
  • Track and report testing status and estimate testing effort.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on software QA experience with test planning, execution, and documentation.
  • 3+ years of experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Geb, WebDriver, Cucumber, or Spock.
  • 5+ years of experience in software QA within Agile environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium with Java and test automation using Page Object Model (POM) and BDD principles.
  • Experience testing REST APIs with tools such as Postman and REST-assured.
  • Strong PL/SQL skills for data validation in Oracle databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Bitbucket.
  • Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language such as Java or Groovy, plus version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
  • Good knowledge of databases and SQL, including Oracle or Aurora, for backend testing and data validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Agile ceremonies, and the SDLC.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies such as functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or Zephyr.
  • Preferred experience in performance and load testing.
  • Preferred experience with TypeScript and tools such as WebDriverIO or Playwright.
  • Preferred working knowledge of AWS services such as S3, SQS, and EC2.
  • Preferred experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Good English communication skills and strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
