Description

  • Execute manual exploratory testing for new features and develop automated test scripts for long-term stability.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright or Selenium.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and represent QA in discussions about quality and delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to clarify acceptance criteria and testability.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and coordinate timely resolution with developers.
  • Investigate defects, isolate root causes, and verify fixes with engineering teams.
  • Advocate for shift-left testing and continuous improvement of quality processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software quality assurance experience focused on automation.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Proficiency with Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in at least one programming or scripting language.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and a shift-left testing mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, BDD tools such as Gherkin or Cucumber, performance or integration testing, and API testing tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail is preferred.
